We keep cookies to a minimum and load analytics only with your consent.
Our approach
By default this site uses only what it needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics, and it loads only after you agree through the cookie banner.
We set and read cookies and similar storage in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR. Where personal data is involved, our privacy policy explains how we handle it.
Analytics and consent
We use Vercel analytics, which is cookieless and does not build a profile of you across sites. It is loaded only after you opt in through the banner. If you decline, no analytics runs.
We respect the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. If your browser sends either, we treat analytics as declined automatically and do not ask again.

Your consent choice, theme and saved desks are stored locally in your browser, not in cookies sent to us. The sign-in cookie, the theme and the desks are strictly necessary for things you ask for, so they do not need consent.
Paying through Stripe
When you subscribe to Weekly Briefs, or manage your subscription, you do it on pages run by our payment provider, Stripe, at checkout.stripe.com and billing.stripe.com. Stripe sets its own cookies there to process the payment securely and to prevent fraud. Those cookies are covered by Stripe's cookie policy, not ours. We do not load Stripe on our own pages.
Changing your choice
You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie preferences control in the footer. You can also clear cookies and site storage through your browser settings, which will reset your choice.
